As a luxury custom builder, Lanier Building approaches each construction project as a singular experience. We utilize our years of experience building custom homes on the Carolina coast to inform each project. It is our mission to build heirloom homes-a home that delights you for years to come, a home that you want to pass down to the next generation; in fact, building heirloom homes is our primary mission.

OUR HOME BUILDING PROCESS

Our pre-construction phase is meticulous. Taking time to understand every aspect of your vision translates into the home of your dreams. We begin our process by meeting with you. We learn what you like in your home and what you dislike, coming to understand your lifestyle and preference.

We work with the most recognized architects in the luxury home industry. If you already have an architect, we review your home plans with you both, listening attentively to your dreams and how to visualize living in your home. If you don’t have an architect, we’ll help you find one or can provide custom home plans for you.

At Lanier Building, documentation is key. We use detailed construction documents that have all the features and finishes clearly spelled out. Our goal is to prevent large change orders later.

In addition, we run construction scheduling software that allows you to make fixtures and finish decisions weeks in advance so that the job isn’t held up due to a lack of material or finish choices.

RESPONSIBLE BUILDER

As a responsible builder, we use the most efficient building techniques and practices to save time and money and provide you with the highest quality. Every home we build is constructed to meet LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) standards. These standards are a consensus-developed, third-party verified, voluntary rating system that promotes the design and construction of high-performance green homes.

When it comes to the construction of your custom home, “Good Enough” is not enough. You have many choices of whom you choose to build your home, and the customer's home level attention to detail and an obsession with extraordinary results is the most distinguishing feature of our service to you.

TEN-YEAR WARRANTY

Every home we build is covered by a ten-year warranty. Most other builders offer a one year warranty. For us, that is just not enough. We build your home, you can be confident that your home will serve you well in the coming years.
